Each day brims with hope and optimism. The sustaining power of God holds us together. He keeps us whole. He makes us strong.  

We receive His energising power and strength.  We did not come so far based on our own strength and ability. God sustains us daily. His empowering love spurs us own daily.  

We rest in His love. We live in His presence. We have a living hope. We find every circumstance to give thanks and glory for His goodness. We live to see a sign of His goodness. We live to experience life in the supernatural.  

God grows our faith. He pumps our spiritual muscles. He speaks hope and faith to our hearts.  He inspires us. He is all powerful. Every knee and every tongue will confess that He is Lord. 

A Cry Of Victory

God is all we ever needed in this life.  He sees us through every season of our lives.  A season of joy, a season of grief.  A season of plenty, a season of lack.  A season of aowing, a season of harvesting.  God is actively at work in every facet of our lives.

Life throws curveballs on us out of the blue.  Stress builds up.  Everything is seemingly caving in.  We are at our wits end.

The redeemed people of God rise up to the occasion.  We persevere and enter His rest.  The situations may worsen.  The challenges may be mounting. We will fight on to the very end.  God has given us the ability to see through His eyes.  God opens our ears to hear Him in crisis.  God opens our hearts to understand.  The dire circumstances loom large and menacing.  The only thing that has changed is our perspective.  We thrive.  We are relentlessly calling on the name of God.  We allow God to move powerfully and sovereignly through our heartaches, pain and anguish. 

God os faithful.  The storm will end.  God helps us to conquer.  He helps us to overcome.  He raises His banner of love over us.  He raises the banner of victory.  We rule and reign with Him.  We raise a cry of victory.  Praise the name of our Lord from now and forevermore. 

Peace That Passes Understanding

Only God can grant us peace that passes understanding.  A peace that can stand the harshest storm. A peace that can stand the test of time.  

When tragedy strikes, we can remain calm and strong.  The peace of God is a sign of God's goodness to us.  It speaks of the faithfulness of our loving Father.  

The power of God's presence allow the peace of God to flood our hearts.  God almighty pours His peace into our troubled and heavy hearts.  

His peace brings solace.  His peace brings comfort.  He peace bring strength.

Make Us Fruitful

God grows us. He makes us fruitful. He helps us to flourish. He blesses us to be a blessing to many.

God exposes us to the elements. Trials, hardships and tragedies are some of the things that we weather as believers. The painful and uncomfortable circumstances are unbearable at times. God is with us as we weather the storms of life. He is Immanuel, God with us.

Our courage does not melt away. We are not sugar coated people. The rain will not wash us away. Our hope does not dissipate. Our joy overflows. We are not quitters. The Lord helps us to triumph. He empowers us to overcome.

God strengthens us. He grows us and continues to make us fruitful. It is not the work of man, it is the power of God's Spirit. 

He will use everything in His hand to work in and through our broken lives. He prunes. He removes everything that hinder us from growing. He purges us. He cleanses us. We are vessels that God's power flows  through.

We are a jewel in the making. The Lord cherishes us. He pours His life into us. He breathes His breath upon us. He moves upon our lives. He empowers us to live victoriously.

Lord, make us fruitful. Grow us exponentially. Grant us growth and wholeness. Touch us by the power of Your Spirit. Make our lives count. Make us fruitful.

God makes all things beautiful.  We turn our broken lives to Him and He makes beauty out of ashes.  He makes sense of everything that seem senseless.  He can even make something beautiful out of tragedy.

The assuring love and presence of God lead us on daily.  The perilous and hostile environment never deter us from going forward.  The hardship and trials never stop us from pursuing the love of our life.  God never leaves us in the lurch.  God never abandon us.  His love never fails.  His love envelopes us.  His love covers us. 

Anyone who has tasted the goodness will always come back for more.  His love is better than life.  He alone will satisfy our longing. He alone is worthy of all the praises from our hearts.

The first time I touched snow was in March 2016. 

In March 2016, the Lord miraculously provided the funds for Monte and I to see our loved ones in the States. It was my maiden trip to the United States.

For several years prior to 2016, Monte had presented papers at the Society of Pentecostal Studies (SPS) conference in different parts of the States. God sovereignly provided for every trip that Monte made. We experienced God's miraculous provision. All glory goes to the Lord.

When we learned that the SPS conference was not far from Fresno, California, we prayed and believed God for a miracle. Our family resides in Fresno, California. 

God miraculous provided for us to be in the States for a month. He taught us to trust Him. It is not a small sum of money, yet the Lord reminded us that the cattle on a thousand hills are His. He taught us that there is no scarcity in Him. He showed us His greatness and faithfulness. We marvel at His miraculous provision.

He stretched us to the limits because we were believing for not just one person to make it to the States, we were believing for both of us.

As we journey with the Lord, He assures us of His abiding presence and unfailing love. God's merciful love overflows.

We can never thank the Lord enough. God is sovereign. His faithfulness reaches to the skies. He is fully dependable. We worship the everliving God.

Our hearts go out to everyone who have journeyed with us all these years. Many believed in us. Many prayed for us. Many have encouraged and supported us. Thank you for partnering with us. Thank you for sowing into our ministry. Thank you for your active involvement in our lives.

To God be the glory. He alone is worthy of all our praise and adoration. We worship the everlasting God. The most high God. God supreme. God sovereign. God almighty.

When we were at Sequoia National Park, I held on to some snow. The Lord warmed my heart. Great is His faithfulness. His love never fails. In Christ alone we put our trust.

Come Holy Spirit

John 5:1-9 recorded the miraculous healing of a 38 year old paralyzed man. He was waiting at the pool in Bethesda.  

The blind, the lame and the paralyzed were all waiting at the pool. They were waiting for the moment for the angel of God to stir the water.  

The first to enter the water would receive healing. The angel's stirring of the water in the pool speaks of the power of the Holy Spirit.  

The sick were not focusing on the angel, they were focusing on God the healer.  

As we wait for the water to stir, we are waiting for the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. We are waiting patiently. We are waiting with expectancy.  

We want to see the move of God upon our broken lives. We do not want to miss out on what the Spirit of God is doing. We are hungry for a move of God.  

Lord, just like the paralyzed man, we anticipate, we desire the Holy Spirit to move upon us.  

Spirit of the Living God, fall afresh on us. We yearn to see Your glory. We long to hear the voice of Your Spirit.  

Come Lord!  Come and empower us. Renew and refresh us. Let the power of Your Spirit move mightily in our lives and ministries.

Move Upon Our Hearts

God moves powerfully in our lives. He is not bound by space, time and distance. We behold His glory and power as we come on bended knees.

The power of God moves upon our heart, soul or mind. He consumes us completely. We open our hearts to the move of His spirit.

God does not need anything from us. All He wants is our hearts. Hearts that are hungry for Him. Hearts that are thirsty for Him. 

The power of God's presence comes like a mighty river. He comes like a driving rain. He comes as a gale.  His Spirit comes on the broken in hearts.

Shine Through Us

John 8:12

"When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world.  Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.""

You and I are the redeemed people of God.  The life and light of Christ permeate through our broken lives.  The light of Christ shines right through every aspect of our lives.  

In our darkest and deepest gloom and despair, His light pushed through every barrier to reach us.  In our hopelessness and helplessness, the light of His love lifts us up.  

As we live courageously in the light of God,  He will grow us from faith to faith, He will empower us to raise up a banner of victory and hope.  

He will shine His light through every broken vessel.  So light of God,  shine brighter, shine stronger and shine gloriously through us. 

Making Room for the Holy Spirit

John 8:4-11

In John 8:4, “Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?” The teachers of the law were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing Jesus.

But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger. When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground.

At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there. Jesus straightened up and asked her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?” “No one, sir,” she said."

Jesus did not cast the stone. He stepped away. He allowed God to speak into the situation. He let the Holy Spirit speak into the situation. 

We make room for God to move. We make room for the Holy Spirit to move. When we depend on the Holy Spirit, He sensitises us to His leading. He reveals the heart of God to us.  

We no longer function in the natural realm. We enter a supernatural state. God speaks to us. God speaks through us. God gives us dreams and visions. He gives us discernment and insight. He endows us with wisdom.

He opens our eyes to see through His eyes. He opens our hearts to understand. He opens our ears to hear His voice.

He inspires faith in our hearts. He empowers and energises us. We move in His anointing. We see in the Spirit realm. We hear the voice of His Spirit.

Lord, anoint and empower us to move in the miraculous. Anoint and empower us to move in Your anointing. Show us Your power. Reveal Your glory to us. 

Hear Our Cries

Psalms 5:3

"In the morning, Lord, You hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before You and wait expectantly. "

The Lord hears us. He longs to hear our voice. He hears the cries of our hearts.  

He knows our desires and aspirations  He knows our hopes and dreams. He knows our pain and anguish. He knows our joy and sorrow.  

As we lay our requests before Him, we do not fret or be anxious. We wait patiently. We wait in confidence. We wait with beaming hope.  

Joy comes in the morning. Joy displaces all doom and gloom. The power of God floods our hearts as we wait expectantly and joyfully.  

We wait on the Lord with a living hope. We wait in joyful jubilation. We wait in full faith.  

God is eternal. God is faithful. He rules and reigns in all eternity. His heart is drawn to those who choose to wait on Him. God is drawn to His people who are completely consumed by His love and power.  

Let us posture our hearts to the move of God in this season. Let us be expectant. Let us wait patiently in hope and love.

New Mercies

"The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness." - Lamentations 3:22-23

God blesses us with His new mercies every morning. Mercy speaks of God withholding punishment. Mercy speaks of God releasing forgiveness to us.  

The breaking of dawn brings on new mercies of God. Fresh opportunities, fresh hope and fresh beginnings. We call to mind the mercies of God. We call to mind the faithfulness of God. We call to mind the wonder and grace of God. We call to mind the unending love of God.  

The steadfast love of God comes bursting through. The river of God's comes gushing through. It is not a trickle. It is a flood.  

God is flooding our hearts with His presence. He is flooding our hearts with His grace. He is flooding our hearts with His goodness. You are I live to taste the goodness of God. We live to see a glimpse of His glory.

We Behold Your Glory

Today is my final IV Methylprednisolone treatment at Singapore National Eye Centre.  Thank God for a successful treatment session.

God is so gracious and merciful. With every breath that I breathe, I am mindful of the merciful love of God. God chooses to bless us at every juncture. He blesses us till we overflow.  

He ministers through us to touch our families, our friends, our colleagues, our neighbours and our communities. His desire is to bless us, to expand us and minister through our broken lives. 

When He manifests His presence in our trying circumstances, all that surface is His power and glory. He makes His presence real in our everyday lives. He orchestrates our circumstances to reveal His wonders and grace.  We will never find one as faithful as Him. As we behold His glory, He transforms us from faith to faith. He transforms us from glory to glory. 

The Goodness of God

Knowing and acknowledging our vulnerability lead us to the heart of God. God sustains us with every breath He breathes through us. Any attempt to boast of our achievement and success is futile. We cannot live without the Lord.

People generally see vulnerability as weakness. God sees it as strength and power.  When we are completely dependent on God, He works through our brokenness.He manifests His great power.  There is absolutely nothing our God cannot do.  

God keeps us alive. He reveals His power and glory to His redeemed people.  

Our God is faithful. Our God is alive. Our God gives us purpose and meaning to live. He gives us eternal hope. He gives us living hope. He gives us unending hope.  

We will rejoice and be glad. Awake harp and lyre. Let us sing and dance before our King. Let us proclaim the glory of the Lord. Let us celebrate the goodness of God.

Touch Our Hearts

God is in complete control of every facet of our lives.  Nothing happens by chance.  He orchestrates the circumstances of our lives to bless us.  He aligns our hearts to His purposes.  He orders the desires of our hearts.  He sets us on the straight and the narrow path.

Journeying with God often demands great sacrifice.  Men and women have given up much in this earthly life in pursuit of God.  Pouring in time, energy and resources to serve the Lord.  Nothing that we have done for the Lord is wasted. God honours our faith.  As we step out into the water, miracles begin to take place.  God show us that there is absolutely nothing He cannot do.  He builds and strengthens our faith to see His power and grace at work.  God's merciful love is poured into our hearts as we embrace Him in total abandonment.  He blesses us till we overflow and runs over.  Lord, we honour and worship You, God eternal.  Saturate us with Your presence and empower us today.

We Come on Bended Knees

We pray unceasingly. Calling out to You. Crying out to You Reaching out to You.  

We yearn for You. We long for Your courts. You pour Your love on us. You pour Your grace on us. You pour Your power on us. 

With every breath, we want to sing Your praise. With every breath, we want to proclaim Your glory. With every breath, we want to declare Your power and grace. 

Our limited vocabulary cannot fully express our deep gratitude to You. You have called us to Yourself. You have made us for Your glory.

You are boundless, limitless, infinite, spaceless, timeless. You are not bound by distance. 

You are the hope of glory, our strong tower, our fortress, our all in all.  

Lord, we call on Your great name. The name that is above every other name. Matchless, unparalleled, glorious, wonderful and full of spendour.

We worship You almighty God. We come on bended knees. We come with humble adoration and deep reverence.  

Consume our lives.  Touch us by Your love and power. Set our hearts on fire. Burn Your deep desires in us.

Staycation

I am thankful to my brother, Nicholas, who blessed my mum and I with a staycation for the past few days.  We had such a wonderful time together.  My mum is so happy.

Mum

God has blessed me with my wonderful and loving mum. She will soon be 80 in June 2022.

My mum has a host of health challenges.  Three years ago, she was diagnosed with dementia.  At her last memory clinic appointment in May 2022, the two attending specialists placed her at the  mild stage.  It is a miracle.  God is so merciful and gracious.

Daily, I pray for God to cover her.  I pray for God's presence to surround.  I pray for God to protect her from seen and unseen danger.  God is so powerful, He watches over our loved ones. All glory be to God our help, our hope and all we can say is that God is loving and kind.  His mercies are new every morning.  Each day, we live in the light of His love.  Each day, we cry out to our maker.  He is faithful.

The Pure in Heart shall See Your Face

I am out brisk walking this glorious morning.  Lord, let everything that has breath praise Your glorious name.  

Let the power of Your presence flood our hearts. Fill us till we overflow.  Let every heart that seek You rejoice. 

The pure in heart shall see Your face.  The pure in heart shall hear Your voice.  The pure in heart shall behold You in Your beauty and splendour.

  

Teach us to number our days.  We worship You almighty God.  We bow in humble adoration.

Awakened by Your Love

Each day as we are awakened by Your love. We are overwhelmed by Your goodness. The privilege of knowing You is endless.  

We rise with hope and purpose. We are awakened by Your mercy and grace. We are awakened by Your hope.

We are blessed beyond our wildest imagination. You fill us with exceeding great joy. You warm our hearts with Your love. Love so deep. Love so strong. Love so wide. Love divine.

You bless us with wholeness and healing. You provide for our every need. You calm our raging seas. You give meaning and purpose to live.

We thrive. We are vibrant. We are hopeful. We triumph in Your victory.

Lord, we are eternally grateful. Grateful for every breath. Grateful for undying hope. Grateful to love and serve You and Your people.

Come, Lord!  Come into every part of us that is broken.  Broken hearts, broken dreams, broken lives. Renew, rebuild and restore us by the power of Your spirit.  Energise and empower us to live in Your will. Transform and work Your purposes in us.  Lead us into Your path.  Order our desires and align our hearts to Yours.  Pour Your spirit on us and make us whole again. 

Almighty God

Lord, You flow through every broken vessel.  You flow through every contrite heart.  You flow through our broken lives.  Bring us deeper into Your grace.  Bring us deeper into Your love.  Bring us deeper into Your presence.  Let Your fire consume us. Let Your fire purify us.  Let Your fire burn deeper and stronger in our hearts.  Fresh fire of Your love.  Fresh fire of Your anointing. Fresh fire of Your power.  Come Lord, enter in.  Enter in, our King of glory.  Our Rock of ages.  Our soon and coming King.  Our eternal God. Lord, we bow down in humble adoration.  All creation proclaims Your glory.  We worship You, almighty God. 

Joy

Only God can cause our hearts to leap with joy.  The stress and challenge of life will never knock us down.  Deep joy comes from the Lord.  The problems may not be solved.  The heartache is real.  Yet, the joy of the Lord is our strength.  Joy unspeakable. Overflowing joy that bubbles over.  God reminds us that He is actively at work in every area of our lives.  He has numbered the strands of hair on our heads.  He has engraved our names on His palms.  We rest in everlasting joy.  Joy that lasts because of His love never ends.

We Will Follow You

It does not matter where You are leading us.  We will You to the very end.  Lead us to Your rushing river.  Lead us to Your breathtaking peak.  Bring us to Your straight and narrow path.  We have decided to follow You.  Lead us to Your liberating love.  Lead us to Your calming presence. Lead us to Your empowering grace.  No matter how hard it is.  We have decided to follow You. 

We Cry Out to You

As children of the most high God, we have the privilege to cry out to the Lord. We call on His almighty name.  We reach out through the maddening crowd to touch the hem of His garment.  We need Him desperately.  Without Him we will never survive.

His ears are inclined to our cries.  A mother praying for her wayward son,  a father praying for his struggling business.  A young lady battling spiralling depression.  The Lord cares and loves us deeply.  He knows our pain and struggles.  He is the only one who holds all things together.  

He challenges us to trust Him with all of our hearts.  As we lay our lives on the altar.  He consumes us in His love and divine power.  He works mighty miracles and opens our hearts to understand that there is absolutely nothing He cannot do.  

He calls us to Himself.  He calls us to purity.  He calls to linger in His courts.  To behold His power and His grace.

He is Lord

Today marks the the 9 of my 12 IV Methylprednisolone treatment. God has poured His mercy and grace lavishly on me.  

The only reason why I am alive today is because of the sustaining love and power of God. God had blessed Monte and I beyond our wildest imagination. There is no greater love. There is none like our God and Saviour.  

The Lord reaches to the innermost part of our being. He releases His strength and power. The love of God envelopes us. The power of God’s presence gives us energy and strength to press on.  

We experience God's empowering presence every moment of the day. God comes powerfully into our lives and shows the world that He is Lord. Every knee will bow and every tongue confess that He is Lord.  Lord of all.

Be Magnified

I started blogging in 2007.  I am thankful that Jee Fong's Corner is kept on all these years.  I am grateful that I have penned down the precious experiences God has brought me through.

I see the height, depth and breadth of the love of God.  I taste the goodness and grace of God.  I know His rich mercies that are new every morning.  

God's loving kindness is better than life. He is like honey in the rock.  What divine joy and hope!  O, magnify the Lord!  Be exalted.  Be high and lifted up.  God of great power.  God of great grace.  God of great love.

Let every thing that has breath bless His holy name. Let every heart that seeks Him rejoice!  The eternal purpose of God is fulfilled in every broken vessel. 

Faith Touches the Heart of God

Back in June 1999 - April 2000, Monte and I were in Asia Pacific Theological Seminary in Baguio, Philippines. Housing Development Board (HDB) of Singapore notified us that the application for our flat in Sengkang is approved and it was time for selection. 

We came back to Singapore around April 2000.  I vividly remember Monte and I went to the foot of our HDB block. We prayed around the block. God honours faith. Our faith touches the heart of God. 

God provided me a job and we were able to purchase the flat. He is Jehovah Jireh. He meets all our needs.

God is the centre of our focus. The Lord draws us to Himself. He wants 100 percent from you and I. He wants to flood our hearts with His love. He wants to empower us with His word. He wants to newew us with His presence.

Monte and I moved into our 17th floor (highest floor) flat in August 2001. Our hearts well up with thanksgiving. God is faithful. He blesses us beyond our wildest imagination. He is our provider. He is all we ever needed.

Mighty God

In the midst of IV Methylprednisolone treatment for my thyroid eye disease, I battle the side effects of the medicine.  As the going gets tough, the Lord reminds me of His active involvement in every facet of my life.  I taste the goodness of God.  I know His unfailing love.  I receive His overflowing mercy and grace.

The journey to the heart of God is filled with unending mercies and empowering love.  God pours His grace on us.  The storm will end.  The birds will fly again.  God's merciful grace helps us when our knees are weak.  He never leave us nor forsake us.  He gives us a living hope.  He spurs us on to persevere in love.  God's love is deeper than the deepest ocean.  How can we ever live another moment without Him.  His sustaining power works mightily to transform us.  He reveals His unwavering love for us through the move of His spirit in our broken lives.  Lord, touch our hearts.  Manifest Your love and power  through each of us.

We have hope, purpose to live.  We have direction.  

We have full liberty to move in the power of Your spirit. Hope abound.  Grace abound.  Love abound.  

We worship You, Almighty God.  We bow in humble adoration.  We behold Your beauty and glory.  We thank you for You have put eternity in our hearts.
