Healing Grace

This morning, I made a cup of tea. As the tea bag sat in the hot water, water was seeping through the cup. On a closer look, I did not see any crack on the cup. I threw the cup away.

Sometimes we may look alright on the outside but actually we are all broken up on the inside. The turmoil, anguish, sorrow and pain have numbed our senses. We are at the verge of a collapse. We can no longer function though we continue to go about with our daily activities.

The Lord beckons us to enter into His healing presence. His hand is never to short to touch us. He waits for us with open arms. He speaks hope and restoration to all who choose to lean on Him. He has never failed us. He will never leave us alone to suffer in silence. He is a miracle working God. He turns our broken lives around for His glory. He breathes health, healing and wholeness into our mind, soul and body.

God is our life giver.  We are all sustained by His breath. We are here today, and yet some of us may be gone tomorrow.  Each day speaks of possibilities, life, hope and grace.  We are not defeated; God lives victoriously through each of us.  He rules and reigns in us.  

Lord, live through our broken lives.  Live through our heartaches.  Live through our challenging circumstances.  Live through us.  Let Your fragrance bring life.  Let us be a carrier of Your presence for the hurting, dying and hopeless people on Your heart.

Monte and I are thankful for God's faithfulness to us all these years.  All we desire is to see His hand of love on us.  All we desire is to see His footprints and hand-prints all over us.  He has sustained us with His amazing grace.  He hides us in the cleft of the rock.  We stand secure in His abiding love. God has never forsaken us.  In our deepest trials and tribulations, He reminds us that He is the fourth man in the fire.  He reminds us that there is nothing He cannot do.  If it had not been for His presence, we would not reach where we are today. 

Each day is a day of hope and possibilities.  We see Him at work; we know that He is at work even on days when our world is seemingly spiraling out of control.  We have tasted the faithfulness and goodness of our loving God.

The Centre of Your Will

The safest place in this world is the centre of God's will. It is a place of release. A place of fulfillment. A place of hope. 

We discover His wondrous love that leads us to the total abandonment of our lives. Our sacrifice pale in comparison to all He has done for us. 

When we are in the centre of God's will, we see through His eyes, we hear through His ears. We know His heart-cry.  

In the fiery furnace, God's love envelopes us. The raging storms will not stop us. The mounting challenges spur us on to trust God for miracles.  

God begins to shape and mould us in His loving hands. His presence opens the door of our hearts to trust Him. We persevere with His assuring love; knowing that God's love never fails. His faithfulness reaches to the sky.  

This is why we do what we do; this is why we soldier on. 

We have a hope that does not die. We have a hope that purifies us.  We have a hope that perseveres.  

Lord, put us in the centre of Your will. We press into Your presence. We behold Your glory and Your grace.

Quiet Trust

Had not been for the loving hand of God, we would have despaired and lost all hope. The Lord never fails to challenge and empower us to lean on Him. We find strength for each new day as we allow the Lord to lead us.  

Our dreams, hopes and aspirations lie in the hand of the Lord. We follow Him wherever He may lead. We allow Him to open and close door sovereignly. 

In quiet trust lies our confidence in our loving God. He makes all things beautiful in His time. He has put eternity in our hearts so that we can worship Him.
