His Hand of Love

Monte and I have been living in Sengkang since 2001.  I vividly remember the young plants that lined the streets.  Due to strong wind and torrential rain here, they needed to be supported.  Oftentimes, they looked battered and weak.  They were fighting for their survival.

Days, months and years passed.  Today, seventeen years later, they have grown into young trees.  Vibrant, strong and luscious.  

Like the young plants, we were once weak and feeble, the Lord in His love and mercy strengthens us.  He builds us.  His nurturing love grows us into a strong, compassionate and loving people.  A people of compassion.  A people of grace.  A people of love.  He shapes and moulds us daily till He sees His reflection in us.  He guides us with loving patience, bringing out the best in us.  His hand of love is on us.

Quiet Trust

Had not been for the loving hand of God, we would have despaired and lost all hope. The Lord never fails to challenge and empower us to lean on Him. We find strength for each new day as we allow the Lord to lead us.  

Our dreams, hopes and aspirations lie in the hand of the Lord. We follow Him wherever He may lead. We allow Him to open and close door sovereignly. 

In quiet trust lies our confidence in our loving God. He makes all things beautiful in His time. He has put eternity in our hearts so that we can worship Him.

The Strength of His Grace

Monte and I have tasted God's goodness all these years.  We are amazed at His unending mercies. We could not have made it without Him.  God pours His grace on us when we are in the depths of despair and discouragement.  The strength of His grace sees us through the most unimaginable challenges. We will not trade Him for anything in this world.  We are thankful for each day that He blesses us with and we continue to count our blessings.  God has blessed us with family and friends who have walked with us through our life journey and we are grateful for everyone who has been a part of our life.  We continue to journey with the Lord in joyful hope.  He is reason for our existence and we desire to see His purposes fulfilled in and through us.
