Faithful God

Never has there been one as faithful as You.

Never has there been one as merciful as You.

Never has there been one as gracious as You.

You lavished us with Your goodness. Your pour Your rich grace on us. You reached out and touch our broken hearts.

You are everything we ever needed. Lord, we surrender. We bow down. We worship You our maker, our source,

our strength and our only hope.

Merciful Lord

You have directed Your ravens to bring us food. You provide for our every need. Thank You for Your gracious providence.

God of wonder. God of miracles. God of might. How can we live without You. Your miraculous provision speaks of Your divine love. Your mercy reigns.

Open our hearts to receive. Open our eyes to see. Open our ears to hear the voice of Your Spirit. We need You desperately. Come and rescue us. Come and deliver us. We put our complete trust in You.

You are faithful and true. You are fully dependable. You are unchanging. Who is like unto You. You the strength of our hearts. We lean on You. Our hope is in You all day long. You are our Maker, our Redeemer and Lord.

Quiet Trust

Had not been for the loving hand of God, we would have despaired and lost all hope. The Lord never fails to challenge and empower us to lean on Him. We find strength for each new day as we allow the Lord to lead us.  

Our dreams, hopes and aspirations lie in the hand of the Lord. We follow Him wherever He may lead. We allow Him to open and close door sovereignly. 

In quiet trust lies our confidence in our loving God. He makes all things beautiful in His time. He has put eternity in our hearts so that we can worship Him.

The Strength of His Grace

Monte and I have tasted God's goodness all these years.  We are amazed at His unending mercies. We could not have made it without Him.  God pours His grace on us when we are in the depths of despair and discouragement.  The strength of His grace sees us through the most unimaginable challenges. We will not trade Him for anything in this world.  We are thankful for each day that He blesses us with and we continue to count our blessings.  God has blessed us with family and friends who have walked with us through our life journey and we are grateful for everyone who has been a part of our life.  We continue to journey with the Lord in joyful hope.  He is reason for our existence and we desire to see His purposes fulfilled in and through us.

The Fire of His Love

Serving God brings us tremendous joy and fulfillment.  God's call has brought us to an amazing journey to His heart. 

We hear His heart beat and follow Him with no reservation. There is no higher calling than to worship and honour the King of kings and the Lord of lords.  

His love compels to love and serve Him and His people. He graces us to share the love of Christ.

Faith and adventure are pathways of the Lord. We can only go as far as the Lord leads. There are seasons of abundance and seasons of lack. 

We lean on Him and allow Him to see us through every season. We continue to soldier on in full assurance of His goodness and greatness. We depend completely on the Lord's care, love and providence. Our Redeemer lives!

We experience the fire of God's love. This fire burns brighter and stronger as the day goes by.  

The Lord sets our heart ablazed with His love. For the sake of knowing Christ, we step into the great unknown. We thread on unconventional pathways. We go where others shun. We leave our comfort zones. The Lord honours our faith.

He is ever faithful. Calvary's love propels us to take another step; to walk another mile. We see hope and possibilities in face of the daunting challenges and hardship.  

God pours His mercy and grace and opens our eyes to see His love at work. The ministry that God has entrusted to us is never a burden. It is a delight. It is a joy.  It is an honour to serve the everliving God.

God is so Good

Monte and I were married on 20 March 1999.  We thank God for blessing us with eighteen years of marriage.  We are grateful to the Lord for bringing us together and holding us in His loving hands all these years.  Monte is a wonderful and loving husband who constantly loves, cares, believes and supports me.  He sacrificed and gave of his best to me.  I am blessed.

God sustains us daily.  Each day, we are reminded that the Lord is in control and we can rely on Him completely.  We have tasted God's goodness and grace.  We have seen wonders and miracles.  The Lord shows us that there is absolutely nothing He cannot do.  We have experienced His miraculous provision.  We have experienced His abiding presence in the midst of raging storms.  Even at this moment, we are not out of the woods.  What keeps us going on is God's hand of love, His faithfulness and sustaining grace.  We desire to live in the center of His will.  As we posture our hearts to seek the Lord, we find strength for each new day. He is the reason for our being.  God unfolds His plans and purposes and fill our hearts with faith and hope.  We would not have made it apart from His mercy and grace.  We bow in humble adoration at the foot of the cross and declare that He is Lord.

We are thankful for family and friends who have journeyed with us all these years.  Many people have stood by us and encouraged us in our journey.  We appreciate each of you and pray for God's abundant blessings on you.

Faithful God

As Monte leaves for the States, this morning.  Our hearts are overflowing with God's goodness and faithfulness.  His miraculous provision blew our minds.  We serve a God who has endless supply and resources.  We know that there is absolutely nothing He cannot do.

Monte's first stop after transit in LAX is Nashville, Tennessee, where he will spend a few days with Ekaputra Tupamahu (PhD student at Vanderbilt University) and his wife Jenny and kids. Then he and Ekaputra will drive up to St Louis, Missouri, to again participate and present a paper in the annual conference of the Society for Pentecostal Studies (9 -11 March).  We are grateful to God that He has orchestrated Monte's involvement in this global impacting conference for six consecutive years.  On 12 March, Monte will be off to California (Clovis/Fresno; central California) to visit our beloved family.

We would like to express our deepest appreciation for family and friends who have made this trip possible.  Some have blessed us financially,  others have encouraged and prayed for us. We pray for God's bountiful blessings on each one of you.

We journey with the Lord with joy, hope and expectancy.  We know we cannot do anything apart from the Lord.  He is boundless, limitless and matchless.  God is ever faithful, merciful and gracious.  We see the miraculous, life, hope and endless possibilities in Christ.

Great is Your Faithfulness

Monte and I are deeply indebted to the Lord for journeying with us for this past 16 years.  We pray for God to do whatever He desires to do.  We are ready to go anywhere He wants us to go.  When we offer our lives to our loving Father, He directs and leads us to places that we have never ever imagined going.  Trials, testing and challenges open our eyes to see the wonder of our great God.  He is not bound by circumstances, time and space.  He is limitless and matchless.  Our hearts well up with joy and thanksgiving for His faithfulness and grace.  His unfailing love captivates us daily.

This journey to the heart of God gets better because God is in complete control in the midst of our fiercest storm.  There is nothing our God cannot do.  He spoke the world into existence and yet He speaks to us individually.  He makes us His habitation and shines His glorious light through us. 

All glory and honour belong to Him.  We proclaim His majesty.  We can only bow in His awesome presence and extol Him as our supreme and mighty God and King.

Breaking into the World of Blogging

I broke into the world of blogging on 13 March 2007. It is an amazing and wonderful platform for me to express my thoughts and reflections.

Journeying with the Lord has led me to places I never ever thought of. Penning down all that the Lord has done helps me in recollection. Through the passage of time, many precious reflections and experiences have slipped through my memory. I am so thankful that these precious memories are kept in storage.

Jee Fong’s Corner chronicles the faithfulness, enduring love and grace of the Lord. Monte and I have many speechless moments where we would just stand back and marvel at God's greatness.

We persevere in His abiding love because His love compels us to press on. We have set our hearts on pilgrimage and the Lord leads us on in victory and triumph. And we rejoice in the hope of glory. He reigns through all eternity.

His Mighty Presence

Someone once said that “Tough times does not diminish the presence of God”. On the contrary, in challenging times, we persevere and trust God to perform a miracle. God grows and develops us exponentially.

We cry out to God in desperation because our God is our deliverer. He rescues us. He helps us in our time of need.

In the eye of the storm, God does His greatest work. God rescues us at the edge of the cliff. He is God of the eleventh hour.

He brings deliverance and hope in our darkest hour. God is alive, He has made us His habitation. He shines His glorious light through us.

We experience the mighty presence. The unseen hand of God reaches out to us. He beckons us to follow Him to the ends of the earth. He wants us to trust Him wholeheartedly.

As God pours forth His Spirit on us, we experience wholeness, healing and strength. He empowers us. He energises us. He pours His Spirit on us.

Lord, come like a mighty river and wash over us. We want to be completely immersed in the river of Your Spirit. Let Your river bring us to where we will flourish and grow. Touch our broken lives for Your glory.

    

Never Forsaken

One of greatest consolations we have is that the Lord promised never to forsake us. He holds us close to His bosom and showers His love and attention on us constantly. We stand safe and secure in Him with full assurance that He will not leave us in a lurch when we are in the midst of a raging storm.

The path that we have taken may be full of thorns and unseen dangers but we need not fear because He is with us. He goes before us and leads us on this amazing journey that we are privileged to embark on. Traveling with God takes on a new meaning because we need not worry where we are heading to; all we need to do is to allow Him to bring us to where He desires us to be.
