On 20 March 1999, Monte and I joined our hearts in holy matrimony. This journey that God took us on is filled with His endless promises. God blew our minds away. He has blessed us beyond our wildest imagination.
I thank God for Monte daily. I am so blessed to journey this life with him. I have spent the best years of my life with him.
Some years ago, a Christian leader, Brother J, who was service leading on that Sunday surprised us by congratulating us on our wedding anniversary. He said that it was hard to stay married for one year and we were then married for over twenty years.
We were shell shocked. We were thankful for his kind words. We were touched. We were encouraged. God is so good.
God has led us through an amazing journey that is exhilarating, challenging and rewarding.
We have been on the highest mountains. We have been in deep valleys. We have times of ample supply. We have times of dire need.
God is faithful. He watches over us. He cares deeply for us. He orchestrates the circumstances of our lives to bless us. He guides us through every challenge.
God is with us in the fire. God is with us in the storm. He sees us through every season in our lives.
We live to experience God's miraculous power and love. We stand amazed at His glory. Each day brims with hope and optimism. We posture our hearts to seek the Lord daily.
God is actively involved in our broken lives. He orders our desires. He turns our hearts like rivers of water. He pours His mercy and grace on us. He energises us. He empowers. He renews us with His love.
We live to taste God's goodness. We live to hear His voice. We live to see His glory. Our hearts rejoice in our Maker, the God of heaven and earth.
