A few days ago, our six year old washing machine gave up. Monte tried to trouble shoot to ascertain the possible reasons for the breakdown. He failed to get the machine to work again. Meanwhile, our dirty clothes kept piling up. We realized the importance of a washing machine very quickly.
We prayed and trusted the Lord. We have been in such predicaments on some occasions and it is not easy.
God is faithful. This morning, Monte tried to do something else in a last ditch attempt to revive our washing machine. I was out of the house and when I heard his call. I was filled with great joy. What a good news! God came through for us.
We can only lean and rely on God who sustains us moment by moment. The Lord is teaching us to walk by faith. We serve a wonder working God. We cannot live without Him. He overwhelms us daily with His providential care and love.
