The Lord is our provider. In the first year of our marriage in 1999, some friends of ours gave us a black sofa set which lasted all the way till 2012. Over the years, the inevitable wear and tear took place and we needed to replace them. Last month, my family was clearing their beige three-seater sofa set and we gladly agree to take them on.
We are thankful for the Lord's providence. So often, we tell ourselves that even if we plan things out, God is always one step ahead of us. In our simple living, we find joy and hope in our faithful and true God who never fails to meet our needs.
