The First Light

We experience the greatest darkness right before the break of dawn. Sometimes, the darkness can appear intimidating and daunting. But the Lord says that when His light shines through, not only will darkness be driven away, His pure light penetrates and zooms into the hearts of His beloved. The break of dawn not only brings forth the light of Christ, the Lord floods our hearts with hope, joy and love over and over again. Just like the watchman who yearns for the first light of the morning, we receive the Lord’s unceasing love. We experience His holy and awesome presence increasingly and powerfully each new day.
