We are all different and we see things differently. Looking at the picture in this post, some of us may see the young lady while others may see the elderly woman. One of the many lessons we can glean from this is that it is helpful to be open to the views and opinions of others because we often see things from different angles. Not only can we learn from others, we are reminded that they might be more than one-way to get things done. Our way may not be the only right one.In the body of Christ, the Lord desires unity and love to permeate from the leadership right down to every member in the church. In our desire to build the church, we exercise tolerance and openness to hear and understand diverse views and contributions. Pride and arrogance will hinder the work of God but brotherly love, submission and openness make room for the Lord to work in and through us.
