Thankful

Mum came down with Alzheimer's disease in 2019. 

Her short term memory is impaired. Her long term memory is good.

Part of the sickness is the inability to make connections. 

Mum is not able to tell the days of the week. She cannot make sense of the months of the year.

One thing that she can do is counting. She can still manage additions and subtractions.

I thank God that as I bring my mum before the Lord daily, God is touching her in ways that I cannot fully comprehend.

As we pray for our loved ones, the Lord watches over them. The Lord blesses them. The Lord reaches out to them.

God is merciful. He reminds us that He reaches far beyond what we are physically able to do. We trust God to intervene and help us along life's journey.

Courageous Hope

The Christian hope is unique because hope comes from God Himself. He blesses us with hope. His courageous hope spurs us to trust the Lord no matter how difficult life is.

Courageous hope is anchored in the love of God. As we put our hope in God, He keeps us whole and safe. Though the odds are against us, the Lord challenges us to trust Him. He honours our faith. He honours every act of obedience.

Hope burns bright and strong in our hearts. The undying hope grows stronger with each passing day. Hope that perseveres. Hope that leads us to the heart of God.

Merciful God

In recent years, God spoke to me about preaching the Gospel and I received it with gratitude. My heart was overwhelmed with the goodness of God.

When God spoke, I did not doubt. I started to pray for God to open the door. I shared with Monte and some people about it. They encouraged me to trust God for the fulfillment of the word. 

I waited in expectancy. My heart was bursting with excitement. This was a mighty move of God. The God of miracles flooded my heart with His power and grace.

The Lord opened the door for me to preach the gospel on 23 January 2023 at Baguio International Chinese Church in Baguio, Philippines.

God inspires faith in our hearts for the miraculous. The anointing of God is not for the selected few. God wants to minister through each of us. He ministers through broken vessels. He works through our vulnerabilities. He anoints us as we step out in obedience.

The power of God is real. He inspires faith in our hearts to trust Him for the miraculous. He speaks to us and brings His word to pass. He is almighty God. God of wonders. God of great grace. God of miracles.

Move Spirit Move

Move Spirit move. Fall upon us, Spirit of the living God. Move upon our broken lives. Ignite Your holy fire in us.

Flow river flow. Flow with power. Flow with intensity. Flow with strength. I do not want to wade in  ankle-deep water. We do not want to wade in knee-deep water. We want to swim in Your river. We want to be completely immersed in the power of Your Spirit.

Shine Jesus shine. Live Your life through each of us. Shine gloriously through us. Shine powerfully through us. We desire to live in the light of Your glory. Shine Your glorious light on us. Make us a channel of Your love.

We Worship You

The sky is stunningly beautiful. God created this universe. All creation worship the everliving God. His majesty and splendour is on full in the hearts of His people.

Lord, we worship You. We prostrate. We bow down. We exalt Your most high name. The  name that is above every other name.

We Trust in You

Your eyes are on the sparrows. You watch over Your creation. You beautify the earth. You bless us with luscious vegetation. You bless us with blooming flowers.

You supply our every need. You teach us to trust You. You direct Your ravens to bring us food. We are fully dependent on Your grace and provision.

Thank You for teaching us to live by faith. Thank You for putting eternity in our hearts. We trust in Your miraculous power. We worship You with our final breath.

Rebuild Our Broken Walls

Lord, You are the repairer of broken walls. You are the restorer of broken lives. Supreme God, we bow in humble adoration.

Renew and rebuild us. Nothing will separate us from Your love. Hold us in Your arms. Encourage and strengthen us. You give us hope. You are the reason for our existence.

Our eyes are fixed on You. You give us hope to persevere. We would have despaired had it been for Your undying hope. We are eternally grateful to You. Be glorified In our broken lives.

Evèning Praise

Your glorious presence is on full display in all the earth. Come in Your glory. Come in Your grace. Come in Your power.

Merciful Lord, ignite our hearts. Set our hearts ablaze. Burn it deep within our soul. Burn it strong. Burn it incessantly.

We will give You glory and honour. We have decided to follow wherever You lead us. Take us by the hand. Bring us to where we belong.

Faithful God

Today, I went through colonoscopy. Thank God that it turned out well. There were no  polyps. 

As we trust the Lord, He gives us peace. The Lord is in complete control. The circumstances and challenges does not determine us. God walks with us. He cares for the sparrows in the air. What more for you and I. We are in God's good hands.

We may not fully comprehend the workings of the Lord. He wants us to trust Him with no conditions. Our full confidence is in God and His goodness.

He knows our pain and struggles. He grants us solace and strength. He gives us undying hope.

We set our eyes on God who never fails. We set our hearts to seek Him to love Him.

God is in full control. In the eye of the storm, He shows us that we can rely and depend on Him. God is faithful in every season of our lives.

Divine Love

Nothing we can do can make the Lord love us more. He loves us the way we are. We do not need to prove our love to Him. He loves us unconditionally.

He does not measure our love by what we do or do not do. All He wants is our hearts. A heart that embraces Him. A heart that cries out for more of Him. A heart that follows hard Him.

For His love compels us to reach greater heights and deeper depths in Him. All earthly things grow strangely dim in the light of His glory and grace. His divine love permeates through our lives.

O Lord, enlarge our capacity to contain all that You want to do in and through us. We long for Your divine love to flow through us powerfully. Touch the world through each of us.

Merciful Lord

Help us to persevere when the odds are against us. Our hearts find rest in You. God of power. God of love. God of grace. Consume us. Consecrate us. Make us an instrument of praise.

With our eyes on the finishing line, our hearts burn with hope. We have every reason to rejoice. We have every reason to celebrate.

Teach us to number our days. As we lay on Your altar, sanctify  us. Refine us. Rebuild our broken lives.

We pray for a heart that pines for You all day long. We pray for a deeper hunger. We pray for unquenchable thirst. We long for You.

Majesty

We declare Your majesty. We proclaim Your glory. You are matchless. You are unparalleled. You are beyond comparison.

Your Tenderness

Men and women of God that have served the Lord faithfully possess tender hearts. They possess a gentle spirit. 

This tenderness comes from lingering in the presence of God. A tenderness that is poured out from the heart of God. This tenderness is attractive. It draws people to the Lord.

We live in a harsh and brutal world. The tenderness of Christ within us is the very thing that distinguish us from others. 

God in His mercy loves us with an everlasting love. As we linger in the presence of God, He transforms us. He endows us with wisdom and gifts. He makes us more and more like Him. His character becomes more evident in us as we allow His Holy Spirit to work in us.

Lord, grant us a tenderness. Soften our hearts. Do a work in our lives. Do a work in our hearts. Move upon our hearts. Make us Your vessels today.

Your Miraculous Provision

 

You direct the ravens to bring us food. Your miraculous provision. You supply our needs. You fill the hungry. You quench our thirst.

Teach us to lean on You. Teach to trust You. Trusting Your goodness. Trusting Your grace.

Grant us faith to receive from You. The harvest may fail. The flowers may not bloom. But our trust is in Your unfailing love.

Faith

Grant us mountain moving faith. Faith that comes from You. Faith that inspires us to trust You against all odds. Faith that brings us to the land of milk and honey.

Anoint us. Empower us. Move mightily through our lives and ministries. Open doors for us to serve You and Your people. Bless the fruit of our labour. We offer ourselves to You. We come on bended knees. We worship You almighty God.

Those who Trust in the Lord are Like Mount Zion

Those who trust in You are like mount Zion. We will not be shaken but endures forever. We will not be moved. We stand firm and secure in You.

We cling to You. We abide in Your love. We bask in Your presence. We behold Your glory. Mighty God, work powerfully through our lives and ministries.

Strengthen us by Your grace. 

Empower us with Your love. Renew and refresh us. For those who trust in the Lord are like mount Zion.

Inspiring Faith

Faith comes from the Lord. God inspires faith in our hearts. He opens our eyes to see His miraculous power. He opens our ears to hear the promptings of His Spirit. He grants us insights and wisdom to live daily.

Empower us to live for Your glory. Energise us by the power if Your Spirit. Let Your Holy Spirit overpower us. We are hungry for a move of God. We long for Your courts. We pour out out hearts in total abandonment.

Come Lord. Come into our broken lives. Bring hope. Bring wholeness. Restore and rebuild our broken ruins.

Broken People

God is looking for a broken people. A people who will come on bended knees to seek Him. God is looking for a people of contrite and broken hearts.

God is looking for a people who cry out to Him all day long. A people who are willing to follow Him anywhere He leads. A people whose hearts are fully surrendered to His lordship.

Lord, we are Your redeemed people. A people called by Your name. We consecrate our lives. We lay on Your altar. We come in holy submission. Do a deep and a lasting work in us. 

Captivate our hearts. Turn our hearts like rivers of water. Direct us to where You want us to go. Move powerfully through our broken lives.

Monte and I tied the knot on 20 March 1999. I have spent the best years of my life with Monte.

The Lord shows us a sign of His love daily. He shows us a sign of His goodness daily. We have been through varied seasons. God remains faithful and true. He opens our eyes to see the miraculous. We live in the light of His glory and grace. His enending mercy and unfailing love envelope us. We are eternally grateful for His everlasting love.

The First Glimpse of Light

The first glimpse of light radiates with Your love. The gentle nudge of Your love. Your love that liberates us. Your love that engulfs us. Love so deep. Love so wide. Love so strong.

The first glimpse of light radiates with Your glory. Let Your glory fall. Your ever increasing glory. Your shining glory illuminates our hearts.

Living Hope

We have a fish tank at home. There is a perpetual rainbow on our wall next to the fish tank.

God created the rainbow. This is His covenant of love. A covenant of hope. 

God is faithful to us. Each day, He shows us signs of His love. He shows us signs of His goodness. His faithfulness reaches to the sky. 

He is a covenant making and covenant keeping God. We live in the promises of God mercifully. He keeps us whole. He keep us strong.

We live in the power of God's Spirit. He grants us supernatural strength to scale great heights. He gives us a living hope. He gives us meaning and purpose to live.

The King of Glory

The King of glory comes to us. He comes in His majesty and power. He comes in His splendour and radiance. We worship You almighty God.

The King of glory comes to us. He comes for a people with contrite and broken hearts. He comes for a people who bows humbly before Him daily. He comes for those who worship Him with reverential fear.

The King of glory comes to us. He comes to deliver and help us. He comes to show us His power and might. We proclaim Your glory. We extol Your great name. The name that is above every other name.

His Sustaining Power

Cast our cares on the Lord and He will sustain us. He will mount us with wings like eagles. We will soar high into the skies. The wind of God's Spirit will bring us through the darkest storm.

Cast our cares on the Lord and He will sustain us. He will strengthen our feeble limbs. He grants us grace and mercy. His supernatural strength will enable us to scale every mountain.

Cast our cares on the Lord and He will sustain us. He will pour His Spirit on us. He will restore all that the locusts and cankerworms worms had eaten. He renews and rebuilds us. Our hope is anchored in the everlasting love of God.

 

Take Us by the Hand

Take us by the hand and lead us to Your hiding place. Hide us in the cleft of Your rock. Warm us with Your love. Hem us in behind and before. Build a hedge of protection around us.

Take us by the hand and lead us to Your high mountains. We encounter You on Your holy mountain. We see Your glory. We know Your power. 

Take us by the hand and lead us to Your flowing rivers. Your river of great delight. Your river of flourishing. Your river of life. Flood our hearts with Your presence. Refresh and renew us. Empower and energise us as we seek Your face.

Evening Praise

We lift a song of praise to You. Our hearts cry out to You. Our Maker, our Redeemer and our soon and coming King. 

Pour Your grace on us. Consume our lives as we lay on the altar. Restore our broken ruins. Bind up our wounds. Cleanse us by the power of love. Rebuild our lives.

The Lord Provides

On 18 November 2023, I lost my reading glasses. Sister G blessed me with a new pair of glasses. I thanked her for her kindness and generosity.

God provides for our every need. Before we utter a word from our mouths, He knows our thoughts. He reaches out to us to save us. He delivers us. He heals us. He hears our heart cries.

God is not a figment of our imagination. He is alive. He is actively at work though we do not understand everything that happens.

He wants our complete trust. He beckons us to follow Him to the ends of the earth. He illuminates our hearts. Our hope is in God alone.

Each day the Lord challenges to trust Him for our every need. He puts faith in us to believe Him for the miraculous. He loves and cares deeply for you and I.

Teach us to walk in Your ways. Teach us to number our days. Teach us to hearken unto Your voice. We have decided to follow You wherever You lead us. We put our complete trust in You.

We Cannot Live without You

We cannot live without You. Every breath reminds us of Your mercy. We are no longer bound. We no longer live in shame and degradation. You have put eternity in our hearts. You have set us on pilgrimage.

Life is Beautiful

Life is beautiful. You give us beauty for ashes. You give us the oil of joy for mourning. You give us lasting joy.

Life is beautiful. You put eternity in our hearts. You set us on pilgrimage. You endow us with wisdom and strength. You endow us with insights and understanding. We broaden our understanding.

Life is beautiful. You pour in the oil and wine. Our faces are radiant. Our hope is sure. Everyday brims with hope and optimism. As we seek Your face, we are transformed by Your power. Do a deep and a lasting in our broken lives.

Almighty God

This glorious morning, our hearts are full. Full of You. Full of Your presence. Your presence empowers us. Your presence energises us. Your presence liberates us.

You inspire us to live triumphantly. We Your redeemed people live to proclaim Your glory. We live to magnify Your great name. Live powerfully through our broken lives.

Abba Father, let our hearts be Yours alone. As we worship You. You empower us. You energise us. You liberate us. Thank You, Lord!

Abba Father, let our hearts be Yours alone. Captivate our hearts. Draw us by Your Spirit. We fall at Your feet. There is no higher calling than to worship You.

Merciful Love

On 11 December 2023, I was badly scalded by boiling soup on my right foot accidentally.

For many weeks, I wad not able to wear proper shoes. I wore slippers instead. The strap of the slipper rubbed against the top part of my wound.

As I recover from this injury, I am thankful for God's healing power. As we pray and trust the Lord, He sees us through every situation. God is actively at work in our lives though we may not see it.

The God of all hope puts eternity in our hearts. This living hope from God spurs us on to live victoriously. No set back or crisis can sidetrack us. We serve a God who is fully dependable. The merciful love of God overflows.

Our hearts are wide open. Wide open for the move of Your Spirit. We are hungry for a move of God. Unleash Your power and grace upon our broken lives.

Miracle Working God

Monte and I are overwhelmed by the power of God's love. God is alive. He is a miracle working God. He hears our cries. He brings hope and strength for everyday new day. 

In March 2024, Monte will be away at Asia Pacific Theological Seminary (APTS) in Baguio, Philippines for the graduation ceremony. He had successfully defended his PhD in April 2023. God alone deserves all the glory and honour.

We are thankful for the preaching opportunity for Monte at the International Praise Center in Baguio, Philippines on 24 March 2024. God is so good!

I am not able to be with Monte on this trip. The flight and the high altitude in APTS aggravated the swelling of my upper eyelids due to thyroid eye disease. I am believing God for complete healing and restoration.

Our hearts go out to all who have made this trip possible. We are deeply indebted to you. You have journeyed with us. You have believed in us. You have encouraged and supported us all these years. You have covered us with precious prayer. 

Thank you for partnering with us. Thank you for sowing into our ministry. Thank you for your active involvement in our lives. You have inspired us to love and serve God wholeheartedly. We pray for God to bless you bountifully.

The Goodness of God

On 11 December 2023, my right foot was badly scalded by boiling soup. By the next day, the blister was bulging.

During this time, I could not exercise regularly. Exercise is so crucial. It is not just the physical. It builds us up wholistically.

Thank God for helping me to slip into my walking shoes for the first time yesterday painlessly.

The goodness of God is inspiring. It is overwhelming. It is overflowing.
