Last year when I was conducting a one session Study Skills training in a school in the Bukit Timah area, I was so touched by an eleven year old girl from a class. At the end of my training, this girl passed me a slip of paper. On it was some pictures and words of appreciation and thanks to me. I was overwhelmed by her. I was reminded to be thankful and grateful to people whom God placed in my life to help me.

My upcoming vocal training workshop will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2009 from 10am to 12pm. This workshop gives you an overview of singing techniques. My appreciation goes out to every past participants and trainees who have made this training platform possible. I also want to thank every person who has referred me people who have needed the service I am providing. As I continue to grow, I am aware that there is so much that I can learn not just from the experts in this field but also from the people whom I have the opportunity to meet in my training.
Believers who are completely sold out to Jesus will understand what it means when we say that Jesus is our all in all. Without Him, we will never be able to survive. He gives us meaning to look forward to every new day. He gives us hope to dream our dreams. He is all we ever needed. He knows our ins and outs, our raves and rants, our hopes and despair, our likes and our dislikes. He knows what is on our minds before we ever speak. No one can compare with the Lord who is ever faithful and true to His very own.
Monte (my husband) and I was at the beautiful Lower Pierce reservoir last Monday morning. The rainforest along the board walk was absolutely enchanting. The fresh air was so refreshing. A picture speaks a thousand words and so I will let these photographs do the talking.
In the first week this August, Monte (husband) and I took a short trip to Malacca, Malaysia.Sometimes, a short trip can do wonders.It was a time to relax besides soaking in all the sounds and sights and not forgetting about the good food.
The church needs the touch of God’s spirit like never before. As we bow before the Lord and intercede on behalf of the church, calling upon the merciful God to rain upon us like never before. Quench our thirst, Lord. Remove all complacency and indifference. Fill us with compassion for the lost and dying world. Your church needs the touch of Your hand more than ever.

God is our lifeline. We stand amazed at the Lord’s mercy daily. He sustains us moment by moment. He is our help in times of need. He is all we ever needed.
Trying times and challenges spur us to pursue Him. God works sovereignly through our broken lives.
God’s divine intervention is never coincidental. He is actively at work in our broken lives. He manifests His power and grace. He hears our cries. In the dead of night, He assures us of His abiding love and presence.
The Lord promised to be with us. He is with us in every storm of our lives. He is with us in the fiery furnace.
We rest blissfully in His loving arms. He is fully dependable. We put our trust in our maker. We rest in His unfailing love. We are not alone. God is with us in every season of our lives.
A couple of days ago, Monte (husband) and I were on our way for dinner near our home. I snapped some photos of the setting sun. The glorious sight stole my breath away. The song How Great Thou Art best described the emotions I felt at that moment. Words cannot express the awesomeness and greatness of our almighty God. How Great Thou Art

Recently, Monte (my husband) and I were doing a prayer walking around Changi Village area.It was rather rustic and tranquil.Whenever we get to go there, we feel that we are miles away from the hustle and bustle of life. It was absolutely enchanting. In reality if we explore far enough, we can find many interesting places right here in tiny Singapore.
We declare His great love from the rising of the sun to its going down. When we turn our lives over to the Lord, He turns our despair into hope, our sorrow into joy, our darkness into light, our bondage into liberty. That’s how great He is. He makes all things beautiful. He goes beyond mending the broken pieces of our lives, He patiently works in us to bring out the beauty in us for we are His shining light in this dark world.
Knowing God is a lifelong quest.From the point of salvation, we begin to go on this amazing journey to discover God.The more we discover and learn of the Lord, we realize that we have so much more that we have yet to know about Him. By the power of the Holy Spirit, God opens our mind’s eye to see and understand the things of God. In His goodness, He reveals more and more of Himself to us as we press in to pursue Him. Lord, above all else, we want to know You more, we want to be immersed in the river of Your spirit.We want to declare Your everlasting love that is higher than the highest mountain and deeper than the deepest ocean.

Last evening, after spending some time with Monte at the Botanic Gardens, we boarded a bus to take us to Orchard road. A lady on the bus got my attention and handed my spectacles which I had dropped unknowingly.I thanked her.The bus was full of people and anyone could have stepped on my spectacles.Thank you, Lord.
Some years ago, while we were walking in a park in Baguio, Philippines, a lens from my sunglasses came loose and fell on the ground without my knowledge.When I realised it, we had already walked some distance.
WlWlWe started tracing our path back where we came from.To our amazement, we located the lens.Anyone could have stepped on the lens.
The hand of God is upon His children.We are covered and protected.We are cherished and treasured by an awesome and loving God. He looks after His own.
I am honoured to be given the opportunity to conduct weekly vocal training at Chapel of Christ the Redeemer from July 5 right through August 2. I thank God for each open door He leads me through. I had a group of people whose enthusiasm was so encouraging. Every opportunity to train someone helps me to grow in my vocal training and it is a ministry in the area of music and singing.
