More of You

God does His deepest work in us in our darkest hour.  Our desperation and unanswered questions may remain.  The uncontrollable situations may remain.  The harsh reality of deep pain and anguish may remain.  The Lord calls us to Himself.  He speaks life and strength into our mortal beings.  He assures us of His love and presence.  He guides and leads us with His still small voice.

When we emerge from the fiery furnace, what remains is the purity of Christ.  We are mindful that He rules and reigns in our lives.  The suffering and pain strip us to the barest state.  We lift up our eyes and see the power and love of God.  We see mercy and grace flowing out from the heart of God.  We taste the goodness of His loving kindness.  

Lord, do a deeper work in us.  We ask not for silver or gold.  We want more of You.  Nothing will quench our thirst.  Nothing can satisfy our hungry.  We want more of You

Fresh Manna

God gives us fresh manna daily. Nothing is from last night. Nothing is stale. He gives us new strength for each day. He gives us new hope for each day. He gives us new energy. He makes our faces shine. 

Each day beams with hope and optimism because God gives us the best. God graces us with His power and grace to face every challenge.  

His promises never fail. He carries us through it all. Our lives surge with unlimited faith. Like the eagle in the sky, we are made to soar and be carried by the wind.  

Lord, Your fresh and precious manna sustain us throughout the day. We are mindful that without You we cannot do anything.

With You, we can scale mountains and swim rivers. With You we will triumph and be victorious. With You, our feeble limbs are strengthened. 

Thank you for fresh manna, Lord. Fill us till we overflow. Move powerfully through our lives and ministries.

A Glimpse of His Glory

God has blessed us beyond our wildest imagination.  In His mercy, He leads us through fire and storms. In His grace, He leads us out from deep and dark despair.  In His goodness, He shows us light at the end of the tunnel.  

When we see a glimpse of His glory, our hearts burn with a deep longing for Him.  In our crises, we remain calm because He holds us in place.  He opens our eyes to see what He sees.  He opens our hearts to behold His glory.  He floods our hearts with peace that passes understanding.  

Our God is supreme.  Our God is more than able to deliver and save us.  Almighty God, we put our trust in You.

The Unseen Hand of God

I thank God for my elderly father-in-law and my mother.  Each day I cover them in prayer.  I pray that God will keep them safe.  I pray that the Lord will grant them joyful hearts and they will be free from depression.  I pray that God will heal their minds and help them to remember.  I pray for God's healing power to flow through their bodies. 

The unseen hand of God is on our loved ones.  He watches over them and care for them dearly.  How precious is Your abiding presence, Lord!

Fellow Pilgrims

We are fellow pilgrims in this life journey.  God has led our paths cross.  As fellow pilgrims, we are in this together.  Life is filled with hope and despair.  Life is filled with mountain top and valley experiences.  Life is filled with highs and lows.  Everyone faces his or her own set of challenges.  No one is spared.  God continues to prune us.  He moulds us daily with patient love.  He smoothens our rough edges.

As we walk in His love.  We see how God puts people in our life to encourage us.  People who pray with us and support us.  People who believe in us.  As fellow pilgrims, we walk hand in hand together to see God unleash His power and grace on us.  We need each other.  God strengthens the bonds He creates and empowers us to love and serve Him wholeheartedly.

The Journey to the Heart of God

Monte and I have journeyed with the Lord together as a couple since March 1999.  We are amazed at God's merciful grace.  Each day brings new hope, new strength and new power.  There were many days when we face mounting challenges and set backs.  There were days when we do not know how to go ahead.  God never fails to lift us up.  He never fails to fill our hearts with hope again and again.

As we set on this journey to the heart of God, He gives us unending mercy.  He gives us unlimited love.  He gives us endless hope.  He nudges us on when we do not have any energy to take the next step.  He pours His love and grace on us lavishly.  No one can stop the love and power of God.  He unleashes His blessings and power to touch our broken lives.  A people who are completely reliant on the power of God's spirit.
