Merciful Love

Monte and I have tasted the goodness of God perpetually. We marvel at the grace of God. This grace that is poured upon our lives. This grace that God has lavished on our broken lives.

We would have despaired had it not been for the miraculous hand of God. God's sustaining love and power spur us to go one more mile. He is our helper. He is our deliverer.

God orchestrates the circumstances of our lives to bless us. As we align our lives to His will and purposes. He guides us with love. He show us a way where there seems to be no way. He beckons us to follow Him to the ends of the world.

Lord, lead us to Your high mountains. Lead us to Your living water. We cling to You. We hunger for You. We thirst for You. Draw us by Your Spirit and we will run after You.

Monte and I moved into Sengkang in August 2001.  We love living in this beautiful estate.

I vividly recall the young plants that grew along the road. The strong wind and thunderstorm oftentimes make it difficult to keep the young saplings in place. The authorities would use reinforcements. 

Without the reinforcements, the saplings will never grow into trees. Today, all the saplings have grown into young trees. Wow!

Just like the young saplings that have grown into trees, God grows us. God nurtures, builds and nourishes us. The storms and challenges do not destroy us. They make us stronger in the Lord.  Our courage will not melt away. The sustaining power of God is at work in our broken lives.

By the power of God's Spirit we thrive. We triumph. We overcome. God is the one who grants us hope and courage to persevere. He brings us growth. He brings out the best in us.  

As we journey with the Lord, He empowers us to move in His anointing. We will not settle for less. We reach our fullest potential in the power of God’s Spirit.  

From faith to faith. From glory to glory. We lean completely on the Lord. We know no other way except the path that He lays before us.

We walk by faith and not by sight. God empowers us with His presence. He empowers us with His love.  He empowers us with His anointing.

Touch Our Broken Lives

I took a shot of the rainbow that is reflected on our wall and through our fish tank. Every time I see the rainbow, the hope of God comes alive in my heart.

God is sovereign. He is the Waymaker. He is in complete control of every facet of our lives.

Nothing will separate us from the love of God. He makes a way where there seems to be no way. His living hope spurs us to live in victory. He show us that He is the promise making and promise keeping God.

Lord, thank You for putting eternity in our hearts. Had it not been for Your loving kindness, we would have despaired.

Inspire our hearts to see You. Inspire our hearts to expect Your miraculous power. Touch our broken lives.

Mighty is Our God

We thrive. We do not merely survive. Help us to persevere in Your love. Love personified. Love crucified. Love that flows from Your heart. Love that goes an extra mile. Love so deep. Love so strong. Love so rich. Love so pure.

We thrive. We do not merely survive. Help us to persevere in Your power. In You we live and move and have our being. Saturate our hearts with Your power. Sustain us. Engulf us with Your power. Spirit of the living God fall afresh on us.

We thrive. We do not merely survive. Help us to persevere by Your grace. Grace us to face every battle. Grace us to meet every challenge. Open our eyes to see You. Open our ears to hear You. Open our hearts to understand Your purposes. Be glorified in our broken lives.

Your Mercy Reigns

These are the flowers I saw this morning. God has blessed us with beautiful flowers. The splendour and glory of God is seen in His creation. All creation worship the everliving God.

The flowers are here today. All it takes is a gust of wind and they are gone from existence.

God puts eternity in our hearts. He sustains us mercifully. We are one breath away from living. God has complete control over every facet of our lives.

We have no confidence in the flesh. We boast in knowing Christ. We desire Your best for us.

We align our lives with Your purposes. Order our desires. Teach us to walk in Your ways. Pave our way. Guide us. Broaden our understanding. Teach us Your ways.

Brokenness

Brokenness is not weakness. Brokenness is strength in the eyes of the Lord. Strength in His Spirit  Strength that is birthed through the power of God.

Find me a broken man. Find me a broken woman. I will find faithfulness, tenacity and strength. When we are broken, God releases His anointing upon us. God unleashes His power in our lives. We who know the Lord shall do great exploits.

Through God's refining and purifying work in us, we become more in tune with the desires of the Lord. We become sensitised to the work of God's Spirit. The more we yield to His love, the closer  we get to the heart of God.

Being broken is a life long experience. We are pliable in the hands of the living God. 

Merciful Lord, we align our lives to Your purposes. Order our desires. Move upon our broken lives. We see You high and lifted up. We magnify Your most high name.
