Your Mercy Reigns

These are the flowers I saw this morning. God has blessed us with beautiful flowers. The splendour and glory of God is seen in His creation. All creation worship the everliving God.

The flowers are here today. All it takes is a gust of wind and they are gone from existence.

God puts eternity in our hearts. He sustains us mercifully. We are one breath away from living. God has complete control over every facet of our lives.

We have no confidence in the flesh. We boast in knowing Christ. We desire Your best for us.

We align our lives with Your purposes. Order our desires. Teach us to walk in Your ways. Pave our way. Guide us. Broaden our understanding. Teach us Your ways.

Brokenness

Brokenness is not weakness. Brokenness is strength in the eyes of the Lord. Strength in His Spirit  Strength that is birthed through the power of God.

Find me a broken man. Find me a broken woman. I will find faithfulness, tenacity and strength. When we are broken, God releases His anointing upon us. God unleashes His power in our lives. We who know the Lord shall do great exploits.

Through God's refining and purifying work in us, we become more in tune with the desires of the Lord. We become sensitised to the work of God's Spirit. The more we yield to His love, the closer  we get to the heart of God.

Being broken is a life long experience. We are pliable in the hands of the living God. 

Merciful Lord, we align our lives to Your purposes. Order our desires. Move upon our broken lives. We see You high and lifted up. We magnify Your most high name.

Deep Appreciation

I was referred to National Dental Centre (NDC) for a tooth problem some years ago.

At some point, a dental hygienist, Dr S, was treating me for weak gums. Imagine bleeding when I bit into bread. My gum problem was bad.

Over the years, I realised that I had come under the care of a very good dentist. At one point, Dr S was wondering if osteoarthritis could have hampered me from brushing my teeth well. I am thankful for her dedication to her work.

Dr S advised me on the type of toothbrush to use. She showed me the right way to brush my teeth.

On 29 October 2025, Dr S discharged me from NDC. My gums are healthy.

Special thanks to Dr S and other dentists in NDC for their hardwork and dedication.

The Balm of Gilead

In January 2023, Monte and I spent a month in Asia Pacific Theological Seminary (APTS). 

One night we were having dinner with our spiritual parents and N. N had made her way from another part of the Philippines to APTS.

N was not well. Travelling to APTS was gruelling. She expressed pain in her hand and arm region. We prayed together.

When I next saw N again. She related that the pain was gone. We were elated. Praise be to God!

The power of God is real. God is our great physician. He heals and restores us. The healing power of God floods through our broken bodies. His merciful love prevails.

When any opportunity to pray arises, we pray. We believe God for a miracle. God shows Himself as mighty healer. The balm of Gilead cruises through our broken bodies.

We honour You. We lift Your name up high. We marvel at Your wonderful work. We see Your glory. We know Your grace. 

Help Us

We come in humble submission. Order our desires. Align our hearts with Your purposes. Teach us to walk in Your walk. Take us by the hand, lead us through every storm. Lead us through the fire. 

We lean on Your strong arms. We follow hard after You. Help us to persevere. Help us to know Your seasons. Help us to discern Your will.

Take complete control of every facet of our lives. We surrender all. We lay on Your altar. Consume our broken lives. Make our lives count.

Blessed be the Name of the Lord

Blessed be the name of the Lord. We come with hearts wide open to the move of Your Spirit. Come Lord, come in Your power and might. Come in Your glory and splendour. Ignite our hearts to shine Your glorious light. Saturate us with Your presence.

Blessed be the name of the Lord. We come with expectant hearts. Expecting Your miraculous power. Expecting Your love and power. We are hungry for a move of God. Move powerfully. Move mightily. Move gloriously.

Blessed be the name of the Lord. We come in humble adoration. Soften our hearts. Purify our hearts. Turn our hearts like rivers of water. Direct us to where You desire us to be. Sensitise us to the leading of Your Spirit. We need You desperately. Move upon our broken lives. Be glorified. Be magnified. We worship You almighty God.

Our Hearts Find Rest in You

Our hearts find rest in You. Lead us to Your holy place. Envelope us. Engulf us. Saturate our hearts with Your presence. Draw us by Your Spirit and we will run after You.

Our hearts find rest in You. Lead us to Your high mountains. All we see is Your glory. All we see is Your power. All we see is Your grace. Inspire faith in our hearts. We trust You for the miraculous.

Our hearts find rest in You. Lead us to Your living streams. Refresh us. Wash over us. Wave upon wave of Your love. Wave upon wave of Your mercy. Wave upon wave of Your goodness. Thank You for putting eternity in our hearts. We worship at Your footstool.

Evening Praise

We declare Your majesty. We lift Your name up high. The splendour and the glory of Your name. The name above every other name. Sovereign Lord, You rule and reign. Your dominion is over all. All creation worship You.

Move Upon Us

Monte and I were out at the Singapore Flyer on 10 February 2013. I thank God for Monte daily. I have spent the best years of my life with him.

The journey to the heart of God has brought us to varied places. We have experienced the highest height and the deepest depth.

All the Lord has shown us is His faithfulness and power. He has performed one miracle after another.

When I started blogging in 2007 under Jee Fong's Corner, I never turned back. I chronicled the miracles of God in everyday living.

We are amazed at the mercies of God. This mercy that never ends. This mercy that is new every morning. There is a freshness that comes when we walk with God. A freshness and exuberance that comes when we put our trust in God alone. A freshness and vibrancy that oozes from the presence of God.

As we journey deeper into the grace of God, He pours His love and power upon us. He moves powerfully through our lives and ministries. We become carriers and couriers of His presence.

Breathe upon us, breath of God. Come and wash over us. Spirit of the living God, fall afresh on us. We are hungry for a move of God. Touch our broken lives for Your glory.

Magnificent Lord

I am looking out of my window at home. The view is spectacular.

Lord, thank You for this magnificent view. Thank You for Your sustaining power. Thank You for Your beautiful creation.

You command the winds and the waves. You hold all things in place. You hold all things in Your hands. You are the Waymaker. You are in complete control of every facet of our broken lives.

We Need You

We cry out to You. We call out to You. Your eyes are inclined towards Your children.

Your comforting presence envelopes us. You give us reason to live. You give us undying hope.

We need You every second. We need You every minute. We need it every hour. We are desperate for You. Help us us persevere to the end.

Our hearts find rest in You. Your eternal purposes propel us to soldier on. You are the reason why we rise with hope every single day.

The Elastic Band of Love

Monte and I were married on 20 March 1999. I thank God for Monte daily. God has blessed me with a godly and loving husband. I have spent the best years of my life with him 

While we were dating, we loved to cycle. We enjoy going to East Coast Park to cycle. 

Monte bought me an elastic band to keep my jeans from the bicycle oil. It is amazing, I have kept it all these years.

God nurtures our marriage. God builds our marriage. With the Lord's presence, we trust God to lead us to greater height. We trust God to lead us to deeper depths. Nothing will separate us from the love of God.

We live to see a sign of God's love. We live to taste His love. We live to see a glimpse of His glory.

Come Holy Spirit

Let our hearts be wide open to the move of Your Spirit. We make room for You to move. Break every barrier. Come in Your might and power. Fan the flame within us. Anoint us to serve You and Your people.

Let our hearts be wide open to the move of Your Spirit. Stir our hearts. Spirit of the living God, consume us with fresh fire. Reveal Your grace and Your glory as we behold Your beauty.

Merciful Saviour

Your grace abounds as we journey with You. Grace overflowing. Grace flowing from Your heart. You grace us with Your presence when taking the next step is difficult. The depth of Your grace sustains us miraculously.

Your strength abounds as we journey with You. Your supernatural strength enables us to go an extra mile. The strength of Your Spirit spurs us forward. The strength of Your Spirit spurs us onwards. Strengthen us as we call on You.

Your mercy abounds. Every breath speaks of Your mercy. We are one breath away between heaven and earth. We are awakened by Your mercy. We look forward to the days ahead because Your mercies are new every morning. Great is Your Faithfulness!

Unparalleled

Lord, You are more costly than gold. You are more precious than silver. All the best jewels in the world pale in comparison to You. 

You are unparalleled. You are incomparable. You are merciful and mighty. Your renown spreads far and wide. Wireman still seek You today.

Saturate our hearts with Your presence. Let us come in prostration. Let us come on bended knee. We worship You at Your footstool. We bow in humble submission. You are the Lord of our broken lives.

The Strength of Your Spirit

We find new strength in the Lord each day. This strength comes from the heart of God. This strength from God is supernatural. 

The Lord prods us on when we are weak. He infuses His strength on us. He energises us. He renews and refreshes us as we wait on Him.

God is actively at work in every facet of our lives. He pours His mercy and grace on us unceasingly. He opens our hearts to embrace what is ahead of our lives. He works in the present. He works right at this moment. Our future lies in His loving hands.

Strengthen Us by the power of Your Spirit. Help us soar like the eagles. We are carried by the wind of Your Spirit. Empower us, Lord.

Broken People

God performs surgery on our hearts daily. He breaks us. He moulds us. He chisels away the rough edges. 

We allow Him to do a deep and a lasting work perpetually. He never stops working in our broken lives.

Lord, we lean on Your strong arms. We need You at sunrise. We need at at sunset. We need You when we lay our heads on the pillow to rest. We need You every moment. We need You desperately.

God's power is released through our brokenness. He works His deepest work in us as we yield to the power of His Spirit. In His love, He releases His anointing upon us. He moves in us. He moves through us. He moves amongst us.

The Lord moves powerfully through our lives and ministries. He empower us. He energises us. 

We lay on the altar of God. We offer our lives as a living sacrifice. Lord, consume our broken lives, we pray. 

Mum

Lunching with mum today. Mum is enjoying trotters, herbal chicken, spicy toufu and Nai Bai (vegetables). Mum is happy!

Because of Your love

Because of Your love, each day is brimming with hope. Your sustaining grace helps us to persevere. You teach us to lean on Your strong arms. You teach us to rest in Your love.

Because of Your love, life has meaning. Our sole desire is to see You glorified and magnified. Our destiny is in Your hands. You have called us to Yourself. We hearken to Your clarion call. We are made to praise You. We are made to lift Your holy name. 

Because of Your love, mercy abounds. Every breath speaks of Your merciful love. Our lives are about one breath away. We boast in knowing You. Let everything that has breath praise Your holy name.

We Trust Your Goodness

Seeing a rainbow on the wall next to our fish tank. Seeing a rainbow through the fish tank. 

God creates the rainbow. He commands the winds and the waves. He is supernatural. He is almighty. 

You remind us that You are a covenant making and covenant keeping God. We trust Your goodness. We revel in Your love.

Lord, flood our hearts with Your presence. We behold Your glory. We proclaim Your majesty.

God is So Good

A rainbow is reflected on the wall next to our fish tank. The beautiful rainbow speaks of the faithfulness and goodness of God. The rainbow is also a sign of God's hope. As we gaze on the Lord, He floods our hearts with His presence. He has loved us with an everlasting love. He speaks strength and hope to us daily.

Grateful

Monte and I were married on 20 March 1999. When we were newly married, my late parents-in-law blessed us with some funds to get some crockery. Today, we have problem locating this carp series. 

Because of Your Love

We have come this far, it is all because of Your love. Your love engulfs us unceasingly. Your love lifted us. Your love made us whole. Love personified. Love divine. Love crucified.

We have come this far, it is all because of Your power. Show us Your mighty power. Reveal Your splendour and glory as we worship You. Mighty God. Mighty to save. Mighty to deliver. Mighty to heal.

We have come this far, it is all because of Your mercy. Your mercy is new every morning. Your mercy awakens us each morning. We would have despaired had it not been for Your mercy and grace. We worship You, everlasting God.

Faithful God

 

Great is Your faithfulness, Lord! The Scriptures tell us that God's faithfulness reaches to the skies. He is faithful from the beginning to the very end. He is not just faithful from time to time.  He is consistently faithful. He is faithful  every step of the way.

God in His goodness reaches out to us in love. He helps us when we are in distress. He is our mighty fortress. He is our deliverer. In Him we triumph. In Him we rejoice in exceeding great joy. Only God can make our hearts leap with joy.

Mighty is Our God

Every new day is filled with the goodness of God. God is not a figment of our imagination. He is alive. His power is real. He is as close as the mention of His name. He is almighty God. He is unparalleled.

He is Alpha and Omega. He is the beginning and the end. He rules and reigns for all eternity. Every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that He is Lord.

Lord, we worship You in the beauty of Your holiness. Sanctify us. Burn Your desires in our hearts. Teach us Your ways. Direct us on Your pathways. Lead us to Your high mountains. Lead us to Your living streams. 

We Worship You

You have made to magnify Your holy name. You have made us to worship You, our eternal God. We come in humble adoration. We come in loving submission. We surrender all.

You have made us to sing the song of the redeemed. A song of deliverance. A song of great jubilation. A song to proclaim Your majestic name. Let everything that breath bless Your holy name.

Thankful

We are thankful for every breath. Your breath of life. Your breath that sustains us. Thank You for putting eternity in our hearts. We hope in You all day long. Night and day, day and night, we long for You.

We are thankful to see a glimpse of Your glory. Your blinding glory. Your glory that radiates with love. Your glory overshadows us. Your glorious,, magnificent and unparalleled glory. We are magnify Your matchless name.

We are thankful to taste Your goodness. We live and move and have our being in You. We would have despaired had it not been for Your goodness and grace. We live by the power of Your Spirit.

We Worship You

God ministers through our broken lives. He works through every life experience. He is with us in every season of our lives.  

He assures us of His love and goodness. He opens our eyes to see through His eyes of faith. He inspires our hearts to trust Him in every challenge.

We call to mind His faithfulness and love. His mercies are new every morning. Nothing escapes His love. He orchestrates the circumstances of our lives to bless us. He reveals Himself to us increasingly as we worship Him.

His Hand of Love

One day, Monte and I were walking around our estate. I told him that it would be great to take a little break at that point.

The Lord heard our conversation. My brother blessed us with a staycation at D'resorts. This is not a coincidence. God is actively at work in our lives.

The ears of God are inclined towards us. He hears our conversations. His hand of love touches us daily. He shows us His merciful love and power as we journey with Him.

This journey is filled with His loving kindness. It is filled with overflowing love and mercy. The Lord inspires us to trust Him in greater dimension. He deepens our love for Him. He blesses us beyond our wildest imagination. He is almighty God.

Hope

This glorious morning is beaming with hope and optimism. Lord, You have made all things beautiful. You give us undying hope. You sustain us by the power of Your Spirit. You lead us to Your living water. We thirst for You. We hunger for You. Renew and restore our broken lives.

Merciful Lord

Lord, we look to You. We cry out to You. There is none like You. Saturate our hearts with Your love and presence. Stir our hearts. Let Your fire burn strongly in our hearts. Teach us to lean on Your strong arms. Help us. Deliver us. Fortify us. Sanctify us as we gaze at Your lovely face.
